Ginger & Garlic Thuvaiyal

                                   


Hi,Friends Hope u all doing G8.After a month am posting a Recipe.Due to sum sum reason i missed it.Here after have to post regularly... :) 

This's my own preparation.This's one of the best Home Remedy for Cold and Cough.Own Experience :)...Can adjust Ginger level to your taste.Can,Serve this with white rice (R) Rasam Satham. Recipe follows,

Ingredients:
  1. Garlic- 1/2 cup(Peeled and chopped)
  2. Ginger- 1/2 cup (Chopped)
  3. Channa Dal-1 tablespoon
  4. Urad dal- 1/2 teaspoon
  5. Red Chillies-3-4 nos
  6. Pepper Corns- 1 Teaspoon
  7. Jeera -1/2 teaspoon
  8. Coriander seeds-1 teaspoon
  9. Coconut-1/4 cup (Shredded)
  10. Tamarind- little
  11. Oil/Salt.
Method:
  1. Heat teaspoon of oil in Pan.
  2. Add jeera,Pepper corns,Channa dal and urad dal roast till get nice aroma.
  3. Add Red chilly and fry.
  4. Then add Ginger and Garlic together and fry in medium flame till all cooks.
  5. Finally add the coconut and fry for a minute in low flame.
  6. Then Switch off,Let't be cool.
  7.  Then,grind in to smooth paste.
  8. Add very little water while grinding.
  9. That's it easy simple and Flavorful Thuvaiyal's ready to have with white rice.

  5. My H always wanted a similar kind of chutney..he explained me the taste but I never tried as I had no recipe..now I do..Thanks for sharing and swing by to my blog whenever time permits..
