This's Hotel style White kuruma.It'll go with Biriyani,Kuska,chapathi,layerd parota.
Ingredients:
- Onion-1/2 cup
- Tomato-1 (chopped)
- Vegetables-carrot,Beans,Peas,Potato mixed-2cups
- Ginger Garlic paste-2teaspoon
- Whole garam masala-Cinnamon-1" inch,Cloves-2,Bay leaves-1
- Salt
- Oil
To Grind:
- Coconut-1/2 cup
- Fennel seeds-1/2teaspoon
- Kas kas/Poppy seeds-1 teaspoon(R)Cashew-5
- Potukadalai/Daliya-2tablespoon
- Green chilly-2
- Cardamom-1(Optional)
Method:
- Add Oil pan,add whole garam masala,fry well
- Put ginger garlic paste and fry.
- Now add the onions,fry till gets soft
- Add the tomato and fry till tomato gets soft.
- Now pour grounded coconut mixture.,and add 1cup of water, put green peas let it cook for 3 mins.
- Once the curry came thick add boiled vegetables and mix well.Cook it for 2-3 min.,
- Check salt and add Chopped cilantro.
- That's it,ready to serve with Chapathi,Tamilnadu style Layered Parotas.
Note:
Dont use turmeric powder..then color will change to yellow.
